New test aims to spot hidden TB before risky arthritis meds
NCT ID NCT06796647
Summary
This study is testing a new skin test to find hidden tuberculosis (TB) in people with arthritis before they start certain powerful arthritis medications. Researchers will compare the new test to standard tests in 100 patients to see how well it works. The goal is to improve early detection and prevent TB from becoming active, which is especially important for patients on these medications.
