Summary

This study is testing whether adding a new drug called quabodepistat to existing tuberculosis medications can shorten treatment for drug-resistant TB. Researchers want to see if a 4-month treatment works as well as the current 6-month standard, while also being safer. The trial will enroll 532 adults and teens with drug-resistant lung TB at sites in multiple countries.
