New hope for fighting tough tuberculosis strains

Summary
This study is testing a new drug, JDB0131, combined with other medicines to treat tuberculosis that is resistant to standard antibiotics. It will involve 60 patients with this hard-to-treat form of TB to see if the new combination is effective and safe over 8 weeks. The main goal is to see if patients' sputum tests become negative for TB bacteria.
