New skin patch could make cystic fibrosis testing easier and faster
NCT ID NCT07414810
Summary
This study is testing a new, small skin patch designed to make sweat testing for cystic fibrosis (CF) simpler and more accessible. Researchers will compare this new patch to the current standard sweat test method in 300 people, from newborns to adults, who are being evaluated for or have CF. The goal is to see if the new device can provide accurate results more quickly and with less discomfort, potentially improving access to diagnosis and monitoring.
