Last-Chance surgery aims to save limbs from amputation
NCT ID NCT07175129
Summary
This study is testing a new surgical procedure for people with a severe leg circulation condition called chronic limb-threatening ischemia. For patients who have no other treatment options left and face amputation, this surgery aims to improve blood flow to help foot wounds heal. The research will see if this technique can successfully prevent major leg amputation in these high-risk patients.
