Surgeons test 'Keyhole' technique to remove large chest tumors, hoping to spare patients major pain and scarring
NCT ID NCT07199699
Summary
This study is testing a new, less invasive surgical technique to remove large, non-cancerous chest tumors called teratomas. Instead of a large open-chest cut, surgeons use small incisions and special tools to lift the breastbone and remove the tumor. The goal is to see if this method causes fewer complications, less pain, and better cosmetic results than traditional surgery.
