Summary
This study is testing a new, simpler way to detect H. pylori, a common stomach bacteria that can cause ulcers and other problems. Participants with a known infection will swallow a capsule on a string to collect stomach fluid, which is then tested. Researchers will compare this new string test to standard diagnostic methods to see if it works just as well and can also detect antibiotic resistance.
