Could a simple stool test catch colon cancer sooner?

NCT ID NCT04693546

Summary

This study aims to see how well a new at-home stool test, called LifeKit Prevent, can detect colon cancer and precancerous growths (polyps). Researchers will enroll 12,000 adults aged 40+ who are already scheduled for a screening colonoscopy. Participants will use the new test and a standard test, then have their colonoscopy to compare results and measure the new test's accuracy.
