Summary
This early study is testing a new, non-surgical procedure for weight loss called Gastric Mucosal Ablation (GMA). Doctors use a special tool during a routine endoscopy to gently treat the inner lining of the stomach, aiming to change hormones linked to hunger and weight. The main goal is to check if this approach is safe and can help people with obesity lose weight over six months.
