New hope for stomach cancer: testing a powerful drug combo before surgery
NCT ID NCT07464756
Summary
This study is testing whether adding one or two new drugs to standard chemotherapy before surgery can better shrink tumors in people with advanced stomach or gastroesophageal cancer. The goal is to see if this approach helps more patients have no cancer cells left in the removed tissue after surgery. About 80 adults who have not had any prior cancer treatment and are scheduled for surgery will participate.
