Scientists test powerful drug combo to shrink tough stomach tumors before surgery
NCT ID NCT06630130
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of targeted cancer drugs can shrink tumors in patients with advanced stomach cancer that cannot be removed by surgery right away. The goal is to see if giving these drugs before and after surgery can better control the cancer. The trial will enroll about 50 adults with a specific type of stomach cancer (HER2-positive) to test the safety and effectiveness of the treatment approach.
