Summary

This early study tests a new treatment for liver cirrhosis using a patient's own bone marrow cells mixed with growth factors. Ten adults with cirrhosis (any stage) who are under 80 and free of active cancer or severe infection will receive the cells by IV. The goal is to see if the treatment can improve liver function, measured by the Child-Pugh score.
