Spinal injection offers hope when lung cancer spreads to brain
NCT ID NCT06296745
Summary
This study is testing a chemotherapy drug injected directly into the spinal fluid to treat lung cancer that has spread to the membranes surrounding the brain. It's for patients whose cancer has continued to grow despite receiving high doses of targeted therapy drugs. Researchers want to see if this direct spinal fluid treatment can control the cancer and extend survival time.
