Sound waves zapped at enlarged prostate in new trial

Summary

This study is testing the safety of a new, non-surgical procedure for enlarged prostate (BPH). The procedure uses targeted sound waves, called histotripsy, to break down prostate tissue. Researchers will enroll 80 men to monitor for any side effects and check how well the treatment works over six months.
