Gentle Jaw-Moving device aims to stop sleep apnea snoring and breathing pauses

NCT ID NCT07414420

Summary

This study is testing a new type of mouthpiece for people with mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea. The device gently and automatically moves the lower jaw forward during sleep to help keep the airway open, aiming to reduce breathing pauses and improve sleep quality. Researchers will measure changes in breathing, oxygen levels, and daytime sleepiness in 40 participants to see if this new design is more comfortable and effective than standard mouthpieces.
