New mouthpiece device aims to make sleep apnea testing easier

NCT ID NCT07397780

Summary

This study aims to test how accurate a new, comfortable mouthpiece device is at measuring oxygen drops during sleep in people with obstructive sleep apnea. Participants will wear the device for one night in a sleep lab while also undergoing the standard, more complex sleep study. The goal is to see if this simpler device can provide reliable results compared to the current gold-standard test.
