First human test for new sepsis clotting drug begins

Summary
This is an early-stage study to check the safety of a new drug called BAY 3389934 in healthy Japanese volunteers. The drug is being developed to treat a dangerous blood clotting problem that can happen during severe infections (sepsis). Researchers will give the drug at different doses to up to 16 healthy people to see how their bodies react and handle it.
