New scan could revolutionize how doctors see hidden inflammation
NCT ID NCT06275477
Summary
This study is testing a new type of medical scan to see if it can better detect and monitor a wide range of chronic inflammatory and scarring diseases. Researchers will use a special imaging agent in a PET/CT scan on 390 adults with conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and liver fibrosis. The goal is to see if this new scan provides clearer pictures of disease activity, which could help doctors diagnose and track these conditions more accurately in the future.
