First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study will enroll 150 people with blocked heart arteries to compare two treatments: a new dissolvable scaffold (Firesorb) and a drug-coated balloon. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups and followed for up to 5 years to see which treatment keeps arteries open better. The main goal is to measure artery narrowing one year after the procedure.
