Breakthrough device aims to save limbs from amputation
NCT ID NCT06071429
Summary
This study is testing a new dissolving scaffold device that slowly releases medication to keep leg arteries open. It's for people with severe leg pain or wounds due to poor circulation who are at risk of amputation. Researchers will compare this new device to standard treatments to see if it's better at preventing amputations and keeping arteries clear.
