New hope for young sarcoma patients: trial tests aggressive drug combo

NCT ID NCT06239272

Summary

This study is testing a combination of chemotherapy drugs (ifosfamide, doxorubicin), a targeted drug (pazopanib), and sometimes a newer drug (selinexor) and radiation therapy for young patients (up to age 30) with rare soft tissue cancers. The goal is to see if this approach can better control the cancer and improve survival. Patients are grouped by risk level (low, intermediate, high) and receive treatments tailored to their specific situation.
