New drug combo aims to shrink rectal tumors before surgery

Summary
This study is testing a new combination of three drugs and a short course of radiation given before surgery for locally advanced rectal cancer. The goal is to shrink the tumor as much as possible, ideally to the point where no cancer cells are found after surgery. The study will enroll 30 patients to see how well this approach works and how safe it is.
