NCT ID NCT04946357
Summary
This study is testing a new, shorter radiation treatment for soft tissue sarcoma in the arms or legs. It aims to see if using targeted proton or carbon ion radiation for 2-3 weeks before surgery is safe and causes fewer wound healing problems than the standard 5-week treatment. The goal is to better control the cancer while improving a patient's quality of life during treatment.
