Oxford tests new shot in fight against deadly rabies
NCT ID NCT04270838
Summary
This study is testing a new experimental rabies vaccine (called ChAdOx2 RabG) to see if it is safe and how well it triggers an immune response. It involves 174 healthy adults and young children in Tanzania, where rabies is common. Researchers are comparing the new vaccine, given as a shot in the muscle, to a currently licensed rabies vaccine given in the skin.
