Game-Changing therapy aims to erase Kids' traumatic memories
NCT ID NCT07185126
Summary
This study is testing a new, child-friendly version of a therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in children aged 6 to 14. The therapy uses games, animated tools, and imagination to help kids safely replay and reduce the power of their traumatic memories without having to talk about painful details. Researchers want to see if this method can safely reduce PTSD symptoms and improve daily life for children who have experienced trauma.
