New therapy aims to break link between trauma and drinking
NCT ID NCT05959434
Summary
This study is testing a new talk therapy that combines two proven treatments—one for PTSD and one for alcohol use—to see if it works better than the alcohol treatment alone. It will involve 200 adults who struggle with both conditions. Researchers will measure changes in drinking habits and PTSD symptoms to see if the combined approach is more effective.
