Could radiographers help solve the prostate scan shortage?
NCT ID NCT06672926
Summary
This study is testing a new system to help manage the growing demand for prostate MRI scans. It will see if specially trained radiographers, supported by a computer system, can make the same decisions as radiologists about when patients need contrast injections during their scans. The goal is to make the scanning process more efficient and reduce the need for multiple appointments.
