First human test of targeted radiation drug for tough prostate cancer

Summary

This is the first study in people testing a new drug called 225Ac-PSMA-Trillium for advanced prostate cancer that has spread and no longer responds to standard hormone treatments. The drug is designed to deliver radiation directly to prostate cancer cells. Researchers will find the safest and most effective dose and see how well it works in about 198 men with this condition.
