New immune weapon tested against advanced prostate cancer

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and finding the right dose of an experimental drug called JNJ-78278343 for men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread. The drug is designed to redirect the body's own immune T-cells to attack prostate cancer cells. The study will enroll 216 men whose cancer has progressed despite prior hormone therapy or chemotherapy.
