One-Stop scan aims to spot serious prostate cancer, cut unneeded biopsies
NCT ID NCT06305390
Summary
This study is testing a new, combined PET and MRI scan to improve the diagnosis of serious prostate cancer. It aims to help doctors better identify which men need a biopsy and reduce unnecessary procedures for those with low-risk disease. The trial will enroll 167 men with a clinical suspicion of prostate cancer to see if this 'one-stop' approach is more accurate than current methods.
