New scan agent could improve prostate cancer detection

Summary

This study tested a new imaging agent called 68Ga-NTA-476 for PET scans in 10 men with prostate cancer. The goal was to see how well it finds tumors compared to the standard scan agent, and to check for side effects. This was the first time this agent was used in humans.
