New scan could spot hidden prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT04286386

Summary

This study is testing a new type of MRI scan to see if it can better find and pinpoint prostate cancer tumors. It uses a special imaging agent called hyperpolarized pyruvate, which may help the scanner see chemical changes in cancer cells. The goal is to develop a more accurate exam to help guide treatment decisions for men with prostate cancer.
