New scans aim to spot hidden prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT07363382

Summary

This study is testing two new imaging probes (68Ga-G21 and 68Ga-G23) to see if they can help doctors better find and map prostate cancer in the body. It will involve 6 patients with prostate cancer and compare the new scans to a current standard scan (68Ga-PSMA-11 PET). The goal is to improve the accuracy of diagnosis and staging, especially for cases where current scans might miss the cancer.
