Swallow this: new 'Pill Camera' could make esophagus exams easier

NCT ID NCT02947971

Summary

This study is testing a new, easier-to-use imaging device to look at the esophagus. Participants swallow a small capsule attached to a thin tether, which takes pictures as it moves down the throat. The goal is to see if this new system is safe, easy to use, and takes good pictures to help doctors better spot conditions like Barrett's Esophagus.
