Scientists test special scan to spot deadly lung disease earlier
NCT ID NCT05452889
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET scan to see if it can detect early signs of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a serious disease of the lung's blood vessels. Researchers will compare scan results from about 71 people, including patients with PAH and healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if this scan can become a better tool for early diagnosis, as PAH is often missed for years.
