New scan aims to sharpen the picture of liver cancer
NCT ID NCT02379377
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET scan that uses a special tracer called 18F-FSPG. The goal is to see if this scan can better find and map out liver cancer in patients who are scheduled for surgery or a liver transplant. Researchers will compare this new scan to current standard imaging methods to see if it provides a clearer, more accurate picture of the cancer.
