New scan aims to predict cancer treatment success
NCT ID NCT07168785
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET scan to see if it can help doctors better predict how patients with advanced head and neck cancer will respond to standard chemoradiation treatment. It will involve 5 patients who are scheduled for this standard treatment. The goal is to learn if the new scan, taken before and during treatment, can provide useful information about the cancer's activity and the patient's immune response.
