New scan aims to find hidden tumors in Cushing's disease
NCT ID NCT07460232
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET scan to see if it can better find the tiny pituitary tumors that cause Cushing's disease. It will involve 50 adults with Cushing's disease who are scheduled for surgery. The goal is to see if this scan is more accurate than current MRI scans at pinpointing the tumor's location, which could help surgeons remove it more effectively.
