First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests a special PET scan that looks for a protein called Claudin18.2 on pancreatic and stomach cancer cells. The goal is to see if this scan can accurately find the protein, which would help doctors choose the right targeted therapy for each patient. About 64 adults with these cancers will receive one or two scans before surgery. The results will be compared to lab tests on the removed tumor tissue.
