Scientists test new imaging dye to spot hidden inflammation
NCT ID NCT05335811
Summary
This is the first study in people to test the safety and behavior of a new imaging dye called 18F-4FN. The dye is designed to light up areas of inflammation in the body during a PET scan. Researchers will give the dye to 55 adults with cancer or suspected inflammation to see where it goes and how the body handles it. The goal is to learn if this new tracer could help doctors see inflammation more clearly in the future.
