New bedside test could speed up dangerous lung clot diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07190079
Summary
This study is testing whether a new bedside imaging method can accurately diagnose acute pulmonary embolism (dangerous blood clots in the lungs). Researchers will compare this new method, which uses harmless saline and electrical measurements, against the current standard CT scan. The goal is to see if this simpler, bedside test could help doctors diagnose these emergencies faster and without radiation.
