New hope for pancreatic cancer patients: experimental treatment aims to extend survival
NCT ID NCT06752811
Summary
This study is testing whether a new formulation of paclitaxel chemotherapy (delivered in tiny particles called micelles) works better than the current standard treatment for metastatic pancreatic cancer. About 416 adults with newly diagnosed advanced pancreatic cancer will receive either the new combination or the standard treatment. Researchers will compare how long patients live without their cancer getting worse and monitor side effects.
