Radioactive glue injection offers new hope for tough pancreatic tumors

NCT ID NCT07155850

Summary

This study is testing a new, one-time treatment for pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Doctors inject a radioactive 'glue' directly into the tumor to deliver targeted radiation, while patients continue their standard chemotherapy. The main goals are to see if this combined approach is safe, feasible to perform, and if it helps shrink tumors and improve patients' quality of life.
