Trial tests new Long-Lasting pain blockers for cosmetic surgery
NCT ID NCT02689258
Summary
This study tested two new long-acting numbing medicines, HTX-011 and HTX-002, to see if they could better control pain after a tummy tuck surgery. It involved 277 adults to compare the pain relief and safety of these new formulations against each other. The main goal was to measure total pain over the first 24 hours after surgery to find the most effective option.
