Summary
This study tested three experimental gels designed to relieve pain after bunion surgery. The gels were applied directly to the surgical site and contained different combinations of pain-relieving medications. Researchers compared them to see which worked best at reducing pain in the first 24 hours after surgery for 430 patients.
