Could a single shot after surgery cut pain and opioid use?

NCT ID NCT07222748

Summary

This study is testing a new, long-acting pain medication called TLC590 for people having bunion surgery. Researchers want to see if a single injection of TLC590 at the surgery site works better and lasts longer than the current standard treatment or a placebo (saltwater shot). The main goal is to reduce pain in the first 3 days after surgery and see if patients need fewer opioid painkillers.
