Major trial tests new hope for deadly lung pressure disease

This Phase 3 study is testing whether the experimental drug IKT-001 can help adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension, a serious condition where blood pressure in the lungs is dangerously high. Researchers will measure if the drug reduces pressure in the lung's blood vessels and improves how far patients can walk in 6 minutes. The study involves 486 participants who will receive either IKT-001 or a placebo while continuing their standard medications.
