Targeted attack: new drug combo tested to shrink tumors before ovarian cancer surgery

Summary
This study is testing a new combination of chemotherapy and a targeted drug called mirvetuximab soravtansine for patients with advanced ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. The goal is to see if giving this treatment before surgery is safe and effective at shrinking tumors. The trial is for about 70 patients whose tumors test positive for a specific marker called folate receptor alpha.
