New pill tested to fight fatal lung scarring disease

NCT ID NCT05975983

Summary

This study is testing a new oral drug called INS018_055 in 40 adults with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), a serious lung-scarring disease. The main goal is to check the drug's safety and how the body processes it over 12 weeks. Researchers will also look for early signs that it might help slow the disease by measuring lung function and quality of life.
