Faster, kinder scan could revolutionize neuroblastoma imaging for kids
NCT ID NCT07111117
Summary
This study aims to see if a new type of PET scan works as well as the current standard scan for children with neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer. The new scan is faster, takes less time in the machine, and may expose children to less radiation. Researchers will compare images from both scans in about 30 children to check if the new method is just as good at finding the cancer.
